Dana Point Harbor

Dana Point Harbor

Dana Point Harbor is a thriving recreational boating and activity center for visitors looking to get on the water and for boaters heading up or down the Southern California coastline. The harbor boasts restaurants, shops, sport-fishing charters and boat rentals.
Inside a 1.5 mile jetty, Dana Point Harbor has three marinas. For the cruiser or trailer boater, guest slips are available through Dana Point Marina Co. and the Harbor Patrol office. From the launch facility, it is a short five minutes to the open ocean.

Complete harbor facilities include guest slips, launch ramps, a fuel dock, marine hardware stores, a shipyard, boat rentals, yacht sales and instruction, an all year bait receiver, harbor cruises, windsurfing, PWC riding, certified dive charters, two yacht clubs, a sailing association, picnicking and a "baby beach" for young swimmers.
Dana Point is home to the tall ships Pilgrim and Spirit of Dana Point, the Ocean Institute and the O.C. Sailing and Events Center. Officially dedicated July 31, 1971, Dana Point Harbor is advanced in design and in facilities, but it is still the place of historic charm and secluded beauty that enchanted author Richard Henry Dana Jr. more than 170 years ago.
